ALIGNMENT OF FRENCH LAW WITH EUROPEAN LAW

On September 13, 2023, the Court of Cassation reversed its case law, recognizing employees’ right to accrue paid leave
during sick leave. The Law of April 22, 2024 reinforced this rule, which stems from European law, with a limit of 24 days per year for non-work-related sick leave.
