BERRI Formation is a training organization created by legal professionals. The organization offers operational legal training in all areas of employment law and business law. These courses are aimed at HRDs, HRMs, HRRs, company managers, executives, directors, lawyers and legal professionals.
Your training courses are designed by practicing lawyers who work with companies and their managers on a daily basis. They work with you to define your company’s objectives, needs and constraints. These half-day or full-day courses take into account the challenges, risks and opportunities for HR and legal functions.

Training levels
Training courses are designed and adapted to your level of knowledge and experience. To guide you in your choices, they are classified according to three levels of difficulty.
BERRI Formation fine-tunes the content and level of the programs with the beneficiaries, notably by means of a questionnaire sent in advance and analyzed by its trainers. Our training programs are designed with pragmatism in mind, and in addition to a theoretical component, each course includes practical case studies based on cases handled by the trainer.
Our trainers can also develop customized in-company training programs, on request, to address specific topics specific to your company. BERRI Formation also offers webinars on current issues.


NoThe Beginner level

Intermediate level
is designed for people who have mastered the fundamentals and wish to update their knowledge with the latest tools and case law.

Expert level
enables you to build on skills already acquired and confirmed.


DOWNSIZING: KNOWING THE RULES TO SUCCESSFULLY NEGOTIATE A DEPARTURE
A negotiated departure requires the company to master the fundamentals, so as to define its scope of action and protect itself against the risk of litigation.
The “Downsizing: knowing the rules to successfully negotiate a departure” training course covers all the legal standards relating to the termination of employment contracts, including the tax and social security aspects of compensation.

OCCUPATIONAL ACCIDENTS AND DISEASES: RULES, ISSUES AND BEST PRACTICES
The particularly stringent safety obligations imposed on companies mean that they are exposed to legal and financial risks with far-reaching consequences.
The “Occupational accidents and illnesses: rules, issues and best practices” training course covers all the legal standards relating to occupational accidents and illnesses. At the end of the course, employers will be in a position to assess the issues at stake on a case-by-case basis, and to take concrete measures following occupational accidents and illnesses, enabling them to control the financial and human costs that may result.

DEATH AND BEREAVEMENT IN THE WORKPLACE
In 2021, 645 fatal accidents occurred as a result of work and during working hours (“accidents du travail et maladie professionnelles: les chiffres clés 2021” published by Assurance Maladie). In 2002, the data showed 738 recognized fatal accidents, which is comparable to 2019 (Assurance Maladie 2022 Annual Report – Occupational Risks).
Suicide in the workplace is not an uncommon occurrence, and employers often find themselves at a loss. The “How to deal with and support situations of death and bereavement in the workplace” training course enables employers to mobilize the legal tools they need to prepare for and deal with such situations. On completion of the course, employers will be in a position to propose appropriate support measures for employees.
Finally, fatal accidents in the workplace raise the question of corporate liability and legal issues. This training course will help you understand these issues.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION – Berri Formation
Assessment and follow-up procedures
Assessment of acquired knowledge is carried out throughout the session, through discussions and practical workshops.
An evaluation questionnaire is completed at the end of the session.
Training location
Training sessions take place on the company’s or BERRI FORMATION’s premises, up to a maximum capacity of 10 trainees.
BERRI Formation’s premises are located at: 12, rue de Berri 75008 – Paris.
In the event of a disability preventing access to one of these sites, training will take place remotely.
Training courses can be held at a location on request.
Terms and conditions of access
Access to our training courses is subject to receipt of the registration form.
The candidate must submit the registration form as early as possible in advance of the training session, and no later than 72 hours before the start of the session.
As the number of places is limited, BERRI Formation reserves the right to refuse registration if the maximum number of participants has already been reached.
